Optional Services
Better Payment offers a set of optional services that extend the capabilities of the payment gateway. These services are not enabled by default — each must be activated by your onboarding manager based on your business requirements.
To enable any of the services listed below, contact your onboarding manager. Each service is configured at the merchant account level and can be toggled on or off independently.
Available Services
Merchant 3DS Authentication
Use your own 3D Secure authentication instead of the gateway's built-in 3DS flow. When enabled, the gateway will accept your externally obtained 3DS authentication data and skip its own verification.
Network Tokenization
Replace card PANs with network-issued tokens for card-on-file transactions. Network tokens improve authorization rates and add an extra layer of security by ensuring that raw card numbers are never stored or reused.
Managed Apple Pay
Let our platform handle the full Apple Pay integration — merchant identifiers, payment processing certificates, frontend button rendering, and tokenization. No Apple Pay API integration required on your side.
Managed Google Pay
Let our platform handle the full Google Pay integration — gateway configuration, tokenization settings, and frontend button rendering. No Google Pay API integration required on your side.
